Capel Incorporated Hires Colleen Stoutnar as New Marketing Coordinator

Rug manufacturer and importer Capel, Inc., recently hired Colleen Stoutnar as its new Marketing Coordinator, managing all national marketing efforts for the Capel brand. Stoutnar joins the company with over 15 years of sales and marketing experience, most recently as the Regional Sales and Marketing Coordinator for Starwood Properties in Chicago and the Greater Midwest.
Charles "Bud" Young, VP of Marketing at Capel, praised Stoutnar for her diverse career experience.
"Capel is excited to have Colleen with us to better manage our marketing efforts," said Young. "Her expertise and enthusiasm will bring Capel’s marketing to a new level in our industry."
Prior to her tenure with Starwood, Stoutnar handled Public Relations and Special Events for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in Chicago. In 2003, she launched her own high-end faux finishing business called Artistic Faux and Design out of Lee County, Florida. She remains a principal holder of the company and has trained both Florida and North Carolina talent to work the field.
"I feel honored to be joining such an established company," said Stoutnar. "The Capel brand is a leader in its field, and I'm looking forward to being a part of that."
Stoutnar holds a BFA in Historic Preservation with a minor in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. A Chicago native, Stoutnar relocated to the Greensboro, N.C. area earlier this year with her husband Allan and her two children, Carrick, 12, and Chloe, 4. Young invites friends of Capel to join in welcoming Stoutnar and wishing her success in helping Capel achieve its goals.
