The High Point Market Authority is hosting a special reception for High Point Market exhibitors and sales representatives on Saturday evening, September 29, 2007, prior to opening day of Fall Market. According to Brian D. Casey, president and chief executive of the High Point Market Authority, the reception is a tribute to the outstanding contributions made by one of the Market’s most important constituencies—exhibitors and independent sales representatives—both to the home furnishings industry and to the High Point Market. All exhibitors and sales representatives throughout the Market are invited to reconnect with friends and raise a glass to another successful High Point Market. “Our exhibitors put an enormous amount of effort into designing products, creating showrooms, and doing business at the High Point Market,” says Brian D. Casey, President of the High Point Market Authority. “We created this new event because we want to have an opportunity to show our appreciation for them and their hard-working sales forces. The event is designed to provide our exhibitors and their reps a brief respite between the hard work of getting ready for Market and the week of selling that follows.” The reception will be held under the Showplace Tent from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Toccatatones, an all-male a cappella ensemble from High Point University.
