Karel Exposition Management Reports Successful Edison, NJ Show

According to Karel Exposition Management, organizer of the "51st Edison Furniture & Accessory Market" the bi-annual show was one of the best ever. The show, the largest of its kind in the Northeast, was open to buyers, interior designers and specialty stores from the furniture industry. "51st Edison Furniture & Accessory Market" which ran from August 4 through August 7 at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center, utilized all 200,000 square feet, featured 1000 exhibit spaces and attracted 4700 buyers from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. "Taking into account the national housing crunch, the Edison market was an outstanding success," claimed Larry Karel, President of Karel Exposition Management (KEM) the nation's largest producer of regional furniture and accessory trade shows. 'Buyers in Edison were in a shopping mood. Nothing makes us happier then to walk into the hall and see smiles on everyone's faces," added Karel. According to Karel, who has been inundated with nothing but positive feedback since heading back to the company's headquarters in Aventura, Florida, the next show in Edison, February 3-5, 2008 is "90% sold out." Karel is the first to point out that his shows are ideal for privately owned, smaller companies that have great product lines. One such company, Cleopatra Gallery, has been showing at Edison for almost nine years. Cleopatra's owner, Ezzeldin Hassan creates exceptional pieces of hand carved furniture that he carves himself.
