Four Hands Expands Atlanta Showroom
Furniture World News
Austin, TX-based furniture company Four Hands will be expanding their space at the Merchandise Mart in Atlanta to add a 1,250 SF exclusive vintage leather gallery.
Coming off a record-setting show in January, the company picked up extra space adjacent to their long-standing showroom on the 11th floor. They will be presenting their Carnegie and Wentworth collections, their most successful new product introduction ever.
Carnegie is a series of English club upholstered pieces covered in hand-rubbed leathers that take up to 14 hours in the finishing alone. Wentworth is a related series of occasional and dining tables made of solid Oak, antique in style, heavily distressed with a thick, lustrous finish. A bookcase and trunk series was also added, sized as occasional tables, as well as some more modern turns with stainless steel frames matched to the vintage leathers.
“It’s been a bit hectic with materials for the build-out being shipped from around the world just in time for market,” says Senior Account Executive and showroom manager Kathi Cunningham, “but it is stunning. It has added an untamed element to the showroom, and I’ll leave it at that.”
