The Friedman Group Launches Retail E-Newsletter

Harry J. Friedman, CEO and founder of The Friedman Group, announced today that his organization has introduced a new retail-specific monthly electronic newsletter, On the Floor Journal. "The retail industry is facing change from a number of different angles, such as Internet companies, large chains and big box stores," Friedman says. "In addition, staffing shortages and a lack of quality customer service are also eroding retailers' profitability. Our newsletter provides retailers with the kind of information they need to meet these challenges and obtain a healthier bottom line." The newsletter will be available free of charge to retail executives nationwide.
A key element in each issue of the newsletter will be an original feature article, often based on an interview with an expert in the retail industry and focused on the challenges retail executives face. In addition, every issue will include an article by Harry J. Friedman explaining a specific retail problem and potential solutions. Links to informative Internet articles from other business experts and a listing of retail resources of interest to readers will also be included.
