Furniture First to Hold National Membership Meeting

Furniture First will hold two National Membership Meetings this summer. The first meeting will be held in St. Louis, Missouri from June 19-21. Member, Tom Phillips of Weekends Only Furniture Outlet, will sponsor a tour of his store for all Furniture First members in conjunction with the meeting. The second meeting will be held in Denver, Colorado from August 21-23 with Sam and Leslie Fishbein of Kacey Fine Furniture sponsoring a tour of their location. Jody Seivert, M.Ed, IDS, of OneXOne Companies, the Specialists in Raising Retail Revenues, will be the keynote speaker for both events. Seivert has an extensive home furnishings background, including professional affiliations such as her membership in the Interior Design Society and her representation as an Industry Member on the Board of Directors of IDS. Furniture First’s agenda for both meetings will include topics such as advertising ideas, private labeling, operational idea-sharing and networking amongst its members. President of Furniture First, Bill Hartman, notes, “These meetings present a real opportunity for Furniture First members to come together, share ideas, promote our supplier partners and better their business in a non-competitive environment.
