Handcrafted furniture, accessory and lighting importer Ardley Hall announced it has created a National Sales Manager position and has appointed fine furnishings sales veteran Jeff Gillis to the newly created post. “The overwhelming reception to our recent product and category expansions made us realize that our customers would benefit from an even better trained and more responsive sales force,” remarks Gail Slate, Vice President of Marketing. “Jeff’s more than 20 years’ knowledge and experience in higher-end home furnishings made him a perfect fit for this important role.” “Ardley Hall, in my opinion, is second to none in the industry,” states the new National Sales Manager. “I feel fortunate and am quite excited to be working with such fine people. They are unusually committed to bringing both exceptional products and superior service to the marketplace,” Gillis continues. The expanded sales focus comes less than a year after Ardley Hall announced far-reaching changes, including the introduction of two new product categories, more than 200 new designs, and a completely remodeled showroom. Product launches in High Point both last fall and this spring included hundreds of exclusive, hand-crafted lamps designed by lighting and home accents industry veteran Tom Tucker and dozens of hand-painted accent furniture items created by worldwide design leaders Daniel & Dyan Lowery. “We’ve been delighted by the feedback of retailers and design professionals, who have consistently told us we offer some of the most unique and well-crafted collectibles found anywhere,” continues Slate. “We feel confident that Gillis will enable our entire sales team to bring the best of Ardley Hall to new and broader audiences.” Gillis previously held sales posts with Maitland-Smith and John Richard, covering commercial accounts throughout the South. He also brings experience in international sourcing. Ardley Hall’s showroom is located at #109 in the Hamilton Market Building on Hamilton Street.
