Jeff Stone Joins Universal Furniture as Vice President of Merchandising

In his new position, Stone will be responsible for overseeing merchandising for all of Universal’s occasional tables, accents, home office and walls. Stone has a wealth of experience in casegood product development and sourcing, and is also a retail veteran. He has held executive merchandising positions with Hooker, Broyhill and Lexington. His most recent position was Vice President of Merchandising for Schnadig. At Universal, he reports to President and CEO Randy Chrisley. “Jeff’s expertise in merchandising will help Universal develop new products that will drive the company’s continued growth,” said Chrisley. “We are thrilled to welcome him to the Universal team.” A native of Seattle, Stone attended the University of Washington but has called the Triad area of North Carolina home for the past 20 years. He and his wife currently reside in Winston-Salem, N.C.
