The Unfinished Furniture Association (UFA) is bringing “A Carnival of Color” to the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, June 24 – 26, 2007. The Real Wood Furniture Finished Your Way® Trade Show is the only show of its kind dedicated to real wood furniture that can be custom finished in any color or style consumers desire as well as accessories and related products. Exciting changes debut at this year’s show. A new streamlined format combining education, networking and product displays launches along with the premier of the UFA Dollars program whereby only retailer attendees can redeem discounts on exhibiting products. Leading real wood furniture manufacturers and retailers from across the country are invited to embrace “A Carnival of Color.” The show kicks off with a special keynote presentation, “Cause of Death: A Business Autopsy of a Furniture Store” by Ken Guerrero. Furniture stores are dying in record numbers. In Ken’s presentation, he conducts an autopsy on a furniture store to learn what can be done to prevent a similar “cause of death” for other furniture retailers. Informative business educational opportunities continue throughout the show. One greatly anticipated highlight is an update on the association’s consumer marketing efforts featuring the Real Wood Furniture Finished Your Way® brand. Grassroots efforts by retailers combined with a national public relations campaign featuring PBS exposure will be shared. The trade show brings together leading unfinished furniture professionals for two days of networking and maximized buying during the most important time of year. The latest industry products and services will be on display, including thousands of new product introductions only at this show.
