Dave Kordich, Chromcraft Revington, Inc.’s representative for the Virginia, Maryland and Delaware region, was named by Johnny Janosik, Inc. as its 2006 Sales Representative of the Year. The award recognizes the value of the sales representatives to the furniture retailer’s selling process throughout the year, and is voted on by all employees, including the retailer’s entire sales staff and management team. The recognition is awarded annually based on criteria developed by the store’s founder, Johnny Janosik, in 2003. Award criteria includes, but is not limited to: assistance with sales meetings and employee trainings; increases in sales volumes; customer service and follow-through; and communications and materials support. “The award means so much to me because it is earned, and because it represents recognition from people I work with daily and respect,” said Kordich. “It is more than just setting the floor at Johnny Janosik and waiting for the customers to come in. Their sales team works hard, listens to new ideas, and works though issues that come up.” Johnny Janosik furniture stores serve the Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD markets as well as the eastern shore of Maryland and Delaware. Chromcraft Revington (AMEX:CRC) businesses design, manufacture and market residential and commercial furniture throughout the United States.
