Lexington Home Brands Debuts New Design Center

Lexington Home Brands has added a 6,500-square-foot light-filled Design Center to the third floor of its Thomasville, NC showroom. The creative operations center is making its official debut during the High Point Market. The Design Center houses product development, interior design and engineering teams in one sleek and contemporary space that is flooded with natural light. “It’s fantastic and energizing to have all of the creative teams housed in this incredible area,” says Linda King, Director of Interior Design for Lexington Home Brands. “The space itself is inspiring. It fosters creativity and it’s much more integrated to have product and design people sharing ideas in a central location.” In addition to office space, the center includes a conference room, a materials library, a publications library, and a “war room” where designers can work with sketches and inspiration boards during product development. Dealers will also utilize the space as they collaborate with the Lexington design team on new product design ideas, develop samples and finalize development. “We’ve created our own design laboratory on the third floor with the Design Center,” says Phil Haney, president and CEO of Lexington Home Brands. “There was a bit of disconnect between our design teams before we opened the new center.
