Stanley Furniture Appoints Curtis Wenke Product Manager Young America®

Stanley Furniture Company, Inc. has appointed Curtis Wenke as product manager of Young America® to oversee product development and manage the product line. He will report to Glenn Prillaman, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Stanley Furniture Co. Experienced in developing new products to meet target market and customer needs, Wenke was previously director of marketing for two divisions with tabletop and flatware leader, Oneida Ltd. While there, he significantly increased Oneida brand awareness and sales through the development of new collections for various suppliers and retailers. He also served previously as a director of product sourcing and development for Lenox Inc., and as a product manager with Mikasa Corp. In this new position, Wenke will be responsible for managing all aspects of the development process, including new introductions, product line profitability, product quality and marketplace analysis. “Curtis brings tremendous creativity, marketing and product development expertise to Stanley Furniture,” Prillaman says. “With his help, we look forward to finding innovative ways to expand our product line while continuing to profitably provide the best product in the youth category with excellent quality and service.” One of the largest furniture manufacturers in the United States, Stanley Furniture Co., Inc. is widely recognized as a style and design leader.
