TechTrans, a leader in Third Party Logistics, announced that it has added a new service called Furniture Net. According to the company, this new offering positions TechTrans as the only the only forwarder in the United States that can offer furniture mail-order shippers 100 percent furniture only, forklift free operations infrastructure to move furniture product across the country with white glove inside residential delivery at destination. TechTrans has an established network that can effectively and professionally perform home deliveries and pick ups. The primary goal is to transport furniture from the drop ship vendor to the TechTrans agent in a cost effective, safe and timely manner. Some of the advantages of this program include, but not limited to are: - Furniture is the only commodity shipped in this curriculum. - There are no forklifts or pallet jacks used in this system. It is hand carried, hand loaded and hand unloaded 100 percent of the time. - Damage claims are decreased to less than one incident in every 2,500. Making it the lowest in all of transportation. - Furniture is shipped in the original manufacturers packaging No shipping pallets, strip crating, over packing or Rule 181 compliance is required. - All residential deliveries are performed by a two man, lift gate, inside delivery specialist team. - Coverage is available for all 48 states.
