Verlo Mattress Factory Stores of Mundelein will ring in 2007 by introducing its new showroom/facility at 1402 Townline Road (Route 60), west of Butterfield next to the Great Escape. This major undertaking, which was initiated in the fall, has now reached fruition and offers a more visible site than its prior locale at 409 Washington Blvd. Franchise owners Stuart and Robin Lazarus said the new 6,600-square-foot retail store and factory will continue to showcase a wide variety of handcrafted mattresses, futons, day beds and memory foam mattresses. The Lazaruses have owned and operated the franchise since August 2004 and also own stores in Arlington Heights, Deerfield, Round Lake and Gurnee. “We’re pleased that our volume has doubled since that time. We’re thrilled to introduce our new facility to this area. And it definitely will accommodate our growth more efficiently,” Robin said. Stuart added that he is happily anticipating his newly acquired toe-to-toe position with big-box competitors like American Mattress, Bedding Experts and Back to Bed.
