Greg Roy Promoted to Executive VP of Sales & Marketing at Lane

Tom Foy, President and COO of Furniture Brands International, announced the promotion of Greg Roy to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Roy began his career at Lane in February, 1988, as a sales trainee. Since that time, he has worked as a Sales Representative for the central Texas sales territory before being promoted in 1992 as Manager of Special Accounts and Major Accounts Manager. He then served as National Accounts Manager for Sears, and J.C.Penney, before moving in 1997 to the position of Merchandise Manager/Recliners. In March of 1998 he was promoted to Vice President of Merchandise for Upholstery before being promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing in 2004 and most recently as Vice President of US Sales in 2005. Greg is a 1987 graduate from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. He and his wife, Jessica and their three sons, Davis, Hudson and Miles, reside in Tupelo, Mississippi.
