Bedmart Wins “Best Place to Work” At Wells Fargo Copper Cactus Awards

Bedmart was the winner of the Best Place to Work at the Copper Cactus Awards ceremony held October 5, 2006. One of 440 entries and 44 finalists in 4 different categories, Bedmart won in the category for businesses with 75 to 250 employees. “Some people might think that retail work and ‘best place to work’ are an oxymoron,” said Sarah Adams, who nominated her company for the award. “At Bedmart, we have a real team spirit. It is fueled by the investment our company makes in us.” Bedmart offers its employees complete training, a compensation and benefit package that is among the best in its industry and provides opportunities for advancement within the company. “Each employee is encouraged to grow with the company. One of our Executive Vice Presidents started as a part-time delivery person while he was attending school. I have advanced from a sales person to part of senior management,” Adams continued. Adams accepted the award with Chuck Kill, CEO. The company currently has 23 locations in Arizona with three new locations in the Phoenix area scheduled to open within the next month.
