Dimplex North America Expands Distribution Facility

Dimplex North America announced that it has expanded its Indianapolis, IN distribution facility to 218,400 square feet in order to serve its growing US customer base. The Indianapolis distribution facility was first opened in July 2005 with 128,000 square feet of space. “We are dedicated to giving our customers the highest possible level of service, and this expansion reflects that,” remarks Martyn Champ, President Dimplex North America. “The additional space will allow us to meet the current strong demand for Dimplex electric fireplaces, as well as expand our product lines over the next two years.” The Indianapolis facility serves the company’s retail customers throughout the United States and its construction channel customers business in all states east of the Rocky Mountains. The facility warehouses and supplies a full range of Symphony®, electraflame®, and Optiflame® branded electric fireplace products and accessories. “Our customers depend on us for timely delivery of quality, innovative products. The new space at our Indianapolis location will help us to continue to make that happen,” says Champ. Dimplex also opened a 15,000 square foot distribution facility in Vancouver, WA in July 2005. That facility serves the specific needs of the company’s construction markets in the mountain and West Coast states with the Optiflame® product line.
