Yesterday’s decision by The Rowe Companies, and its manufacturing subsidiary Rowe Furniture, to voluntarily file for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code on September 18, 2006 will allow Rowe Furniture to focus on manufacturing, as its sister subsidiary Storehouse will be sold. The primary manufacturing facilities in Virginia opened for business this morning and began a full day of processing incoming orders and completing production on existing orders.
