David Koehler Named New Regional VP For La-Z-Boy

La-Z-Boy has appointed David Koehler to the position of regional vice president of sales for the South Central region. In his new position, Koehler will be responsible for all sales activity in his assigned region and will report directly to Greg White, vice president of merchandising and sales for La-Z-Boy. Koehler most recently was the Texas regional manager/general manager of the Dallas stores for Haverty’s Furniture Company. He has spent his 21-year career with Haverty’s and held many positions, including general manager of the Washington D.C. stores, as well as assistant vice president of operations. “David is an experienced professional who has a great understanding of the industry,” said White. “His understanding of the retail landscape and the furniture industry will make him an excellent leader for our sales reps and retailers throughout the South Central region.” The South Central region consists of the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and the southern areas of Missouri and Kansas. Koehler will work directly with the sales representatives to ensure that they have ample resources and support for their sustained success. Koehler received a bachelor of science in business administration and economics with a concentration in management, in addition to a minor in home furnishings marketing, from High Point University, in High Point, N.C. Koehler will manage the South Central region from the Dallas area, where he currently resides with his wife, Marie.
