Broyhill Furniture Expands Merchandise Team

Broyhill Furniture Industries, one of the largest full-line furniture producers in the world, recently expanded their merchandise team with the addition of Fran Scheller as merchandise manager for bedroom and dining room. Scheller has spent the last 28 years with Hecht’s Department Store, a division of the May Company in Arlington, Virginia. For the last 20 years, she was the company’s furniture buyer, and also spent time in retail sales and executive training. Mike McCollum, vice president of merchandising and design for Broyhill, says, “We are very excited to have Fran join the Broyhill team. Her background in retail merchandising will add greatly to our market-driven direction. We found in Fran a person with an enthusiastic approach to developing innovative products and concepts for the consumer.” Broyhill’s extensive furniture line includes products for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, home entertainment, and home office.
