Canwood To Leave High Point Market

Canwood Furniture, Inc., announced that it will not show at the April 2006 High Point Market. With the expiration of their latest five year lease at the 220 Elm Street location, the manufacturer of contemporary Pine furniture noted that they have decided to assess other options for high traffic locations in High Point or other venues. Mel Kemp, Canwood's President said that, "This withdrawal, while it is expected to be temporary, does not in any way dimish our continuing commitment to servicing our valued customer base, both in North America and off-shore. We will continue to strive to provide our customers with a successful game plan, a strategy that offers a competitive edge, products with uncommon value, and a concept that will rejuvenate their retail floor and sales staff."
