GRID2 International to Design World Market Center Space For Spring Air

The Spring Air Company announces plans to open a 7,250 square-foot showroom in Building 2 of the World Market Center in Las Vegas. GRID2 International has been engaged by the mattress manufacturer to design and construct the new space, scheduled to open in January, 2007. Spring Air will utilize the showroom to present the company’s product line to its dealers during biannual trade shows hosted by Las Vegas Market organizers. “This is the market to be at if you are in the bedding business,” says Jim Nation, president, Spring Air. “We want to have a presence there that reflects our leadership in the category.” He adds, “We’ve worked with GRID2 and know they can make this a reality for Spring Air.” Leading strategic design firm GRID2 International has conceived an upscale hotel theme to enhance the mood for business dealings. A grand hotel lobby is interpreted by large columns, suspended lighting and classic moulding in the Spring Air showroom design. At the heart of the exhibition space is a large, richly decorated lounge with tables, comfortable seating, a bar, wireless technology, and an oversized TV screen. “The primary purpose for hosting a market is to build relationships,” says Martin Roberts, president, GRID2. “With this showroom, Spring Air will have a beautiful, welcoming environment for taking care of their customers and wooing prospects, in addition to showing off their products.” Thirty beds from the Spring Air line, including bestsellers and new introductions, will be featured each market in the new showroom. Spring Air will be located on the 11th floor of World Market Center’s Building 2. Reception and conference areas are included in the new layout.
