ASID Industry Sponsors Are Lining Up to Support ASID Foundation

ASID Industry Partners are enthusiastically supporting the newly revitalized ASID Foundation, Inc., by donating luxury items for “Jubilation,” the first annual auction fundraiser to take place during INTERIORS 06: The ASID Conference on Design, in Nashville, Tenn., on March 16 -19. Jubilation, one of the highlights of the conference, will bring more than 1,000 members of the community together to celebrate and support the mission of the Foundation. To date, the following ASID Industry Partners have donated items for the silent and live auctions, which will be the centerpieces of Jubilation: -Carnegie Fabrics, 10 yards of specialty, lush fabric -Donghia®, high-end residential furniture -Fabulous Floors, 4 feet by 6 feet, 100-percent New Zealand Woo rug and one-of-a-kind, handcrafted necklace -Hancock & Moore, handcrafted, Italian leather office chair -Herman Miller, Inc., Eames walnut stool -Maharam, beautiful, whimsical throw pillows -Monster Cable Products, Inc., Monster Home Theatre® component tower -Steelcase, Inc., Think office chair “The trustees of the ASID Foundation wish to thank the ASID Industry Partners for their generosity and support of the Foundation,” said Juliana Catlin, FASID, trustees chair. “The funds raised at Jubilation will help the Foundation enhance the field of interior design by backing innovative and imaginative research and education initiatives, providing financial assistance to deserving interior design students, and making grants to colleges and universities with a curriculum in interior design.” Artisans, ASID members and other supporters also are donating unique, high-end items for the Jubilation auctions, including “dream” vacation home rentals and stays at sumptuous hotels.
