MGM Transport Corp. has begun light assembly production of dining room chairs for A-America Furniture at its new Eden distribution facility. Located in Tukwila, WA, A-America is a 30-year-old case goods importer of solid wood collections. They will ship unassembled chair parts to MGM’s Eden facility for production and inventory management. Cost effective, knockdown chair shipments assembled in Eden will allow timely delivery to east coast customers. The Eden facility was opened in January of this year under MGM’s Warehousing & Distribution services. From this facility, MGM provides complete distribution services, including white glove in-home residential delivery. The 500,000 square foot operation includes substantial rack and bulk storage space as well as facilities for inspection, light assembly, repair and repackaging.
