Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. ("Ashley") and the Ashley Furniture HomeStores are donating $1.1 million to The American Red Cross to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. The $1.1 million dollar check will be presented by Ashley Furniture executives and representatives of the 200 Ashley Furniture HomeStores to Donald Paxton, Executive Director of The American Red Cross Relief Disaster Fund at 11:00 a.m. on September 7, 2005 at Ashley's facilities at 447 Highway 346 West, Ecru, Mississippi. After seeing such extreme devastation and tragedy, Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. and all the Ashley Furniture HomeStores are showing their support by giving back to those who have lost so much.
