World Market Center Owners to Host News Conference & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Monday, July 25

To celebrate the opening of World Market Center (WMC) and the inaugural Las Vegas Market, project owners will host a news conference and reception on Monday, July 25 beginning at 3:30 p.m. The developers behind the largest new home furnishings market in the U.S. will discuss the past, present and future of WMC and will answer questions from the media. The press conference will be followed by a spectacular ribbon cutting ceremony, in which TV Personality Lisa Rinna will serve as “mistress of ceremonies.” Immediately following, the official grand opening party will commence on every floor of the 1.3 million square foot complex. Many of the top Las Vegas hotels and restaurants will join market officials to welcome the industry to Las Vegas. A “Taste of Las Vegas” will be showcased on every level allowing each of the ten floors to be a unique destination for attendees and special guests. WMC will be the largest trade complex in the world dedicated to home furnishings when its 57-acre integrated campus is fully developed to encompass 12 million square feet in 2015. The inaugural event, taking place July 25-29, will attract more than 40,000 industry professionals from over 60 countries to Las Vegas and showcase 1,200 exhibiting companies.
