Leda Furniture will commence its annual summer shutdown beginning July 23rd and re-opening August 8th, 2005. While there will be a skeleton crew working in the plant during this time the office will be open for business as usual.
The shutdown not only allows Leda employees the opportunity to spend a summer vacation with their families, but it allows the company time to clean up, renovate and re-organize the plant. “ We have always been proud of our cleanliness and have strived to keep it a clean and organized working environment,” states Marco L. Confalone, President.
Coming out of the shutdown Leda will be looking towards a favorable second half of 2005 which will see the following activity: the launch of their website; a summer incentive promotion; a quick-ship program; ground-breaking for an extension to their existing factory; the first production run of their April introduction Signature; a new venture into office contract furniture, as well as other activities to be announced.
“We anticipate a very productive time at Leda Furniture for the balance of 2005 and into 2006’” continues Confalone, “with new programs, products and ventures designed to assist retailers in growing both their Leda business.”
