Universal Furniture Signs Lease Agreement for 26,000 sq. ft. Showroom in Phase II of World Market CenterSM

Universal Furniture International, a leading manufacturer of quality casegoods and upholstery, recently signed a lease agreement for a showroom in Phase II of World Market CenterSM. Universal’s new showroom at Las Vegas MarketSM will total 26,000 square feet and be located on the fourteenth floor of Building B; the second phase of World Market CenterSM scheduled for completion in early 2007. In the meantime, that won’t stop Universal from participating in the Grand Opening of Las Vegas MarketSM. Universal is among the anchor companies exhibiting in the World PavilionsSM and will take approximately 15,000 square feet in the tent structures located adjacent to Building A. “July’s Las Vegas Market is going to be an important industry event. We absolutely wanted to be there and will continue to show in a temporary space until our Las Vegas showroom is ready,” said Randy Chrisley, president and CEO of Universal Furniture. “We have a strong commitment to our Western retailers and as such we are pleased to participate in the inaugural Las Vegas MarketSM and expect World Market CenterSM to become a top-flight venue for our business,” added Chrisley, whose company will show it’s new line of fabric and leather upholstered furniture alongside it’s industry leading collection of bedrooms, dining rooms, occasional tables, and home theater products.
