Sealy Sponsors the Nationally Broadcast Summer Concert Series ‘Today Rocks the Plaza’

Sealy, Inc., a leading mattress producer, and NBC “Today," Weekend Edition announced a new sponsorship agreement for the annual Summer Concert Series, "Today Rocks the Plaza." The series, which began on May 7, kicked off with the Grammy Award-winning band The Wallflowers and will continue to “rock” on Saturday mornings throughout the summer. Fans and visitors are invited to come down to "Today's" Studio 1A in Rockefeller Plaza in midtown Manhattan for the live, free outdoor concerts every Saturday morning at 7 a.m. “We’re delighted to partner with NBC’s Today Show to bring New York visitors and millions of viewers great music throughout the summer,” said Philip Dobbs, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sealy, Inc. “The Today Show is broadcast nationally and boasts some of the highest ratings on television. By sponsoring its concert series, we are able to support all our retailers throughout the country on a regular basis throughout the peak summer selling season. Concerts scheduled to date include: May 7: The Wallflowers May 14: STYX May 28: Howie Day June 4: Big n' Rich June 11: Brian McKnight June 18: Anna Nalick June 23: Gavin DeGraw July 30: Jason Mraz Aug 13: The Beach Boys Additional performances will be announced throughout the season.
