Michael C. Gennet Resigns As President and Chief Operating Officer of Lazar

Lazar Industries, LLC, based in Los Angeles and Siler City, NC, has announced the resignation of Michael C. Gennet as President and Chief Operating Officer. Gennet joined Lazar in 2003, after a decade as President of the San Francisco Mart. “Michael has been an asset to our organization,” said Barry Lazar, CEO and founder, “and his industry relationships have been instrumental in our growth with retailers nationally. We are sorry that Michael elected to make a change, and we wish him every success. Fortunately we have a great staff with the skills and commitment to fill the void. Our focus remains to provide profit opportunities for our dealers as always.” Gennet has not announced his future plans but credits Barry Lazar and the Lazar management team with “the vision and energy necessary to take the company to the next level.” Regarding his decision to resign, Gennet said “I felt it was time to reestablish my personal priorities, step back from my executive responsibilities, and chart a course that is most appropriate for me and my family.”
