Profitability Group Appoints Wolinski To Head Performance Groups Division

Profitability Consulting Group, the leading consultants to the home furnishings industry, has announced the addition of 27 year veteran, Ron Wolinski to their management team. Ron will be Vice President of Performance Groups. This division is devoted to aiding retail furniture dealers to join together to share common situations, ideas, goals and solutions to develop a “best practices” approach to the profitable operation of their stores. This concept, although relatively new to the furniture industry, has been extremely successful in many industries, especially automotives. Mr. Wolinski joins Profitability Consulting Group with an extensive background in sales education, management and organizational development. Most recently, he was Director of Education and Retail Services for La-Z-Boy, Inc. Before that he was National Director of Education and Development for Value City Furniture in Columbus, Ohio. He was also Manager of Sales Education for the Simmons Company where he established the Simmons Academy. While being President of Behavioral Dimensions, Ron also created the Corporate University for Thomasville Furniture. His experience also includes managing the training and development program for Art Van Furniture.
