cmi Promotes Three To Sales Support Positions

cmi (Colonial Mills, Inc.), a leading manufacturer of a complete line of braided-texture area rugs and accessories, announces the promotions of Meredith Scarlata to the position of Sales Support Manager and Kristin Henderson and Gregg Scarlata to Sales Support Associate. The appointments were made to provide the support necessary to keep pace with the significant growth of the company and the expanding needs of its sales force and customers. Previously a Retail Division Manager at cmi, Meredith Scarlata’s responsibilities as Sales Support Manager will include coordinating the assistance her staff provides to the internal sales team and the company’s sales representatives. Scarlata, who earned her bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, presently resides in Easton, MA. As Sales Support Associates, both Henderson and Gregg Scarlata will assist internal and external sales by creating sales proposals, developing new promotions and conducting training seminars at retail stores. Henderson was Store Manager at cmi’s Westbrook, CT retail store prior to her recent appointment. She received her bachelor’s degree from Fairfield College in Fairfield, CT and resides in Milton, MA. Gregg Scarlata has held a variety of positions at cmi in production and retail before being named to his current position. Prior to his tenure at cmi, he was an Assistant Field Engineer at JF White Contracting in Boston. Scarlata is currently working towards earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
