Roseanne Dore thought she had lost everything when her house burned to the ground in an electrical fire in June. With no insurance to rebuild, Dore and her three daughters were forced to move into a shed and use an outhouse. Now, thanks to ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Stanley Furniture Co. and Young America®, the Seattle family is moving into their dream home. On Sunday, Jan. 9, Stanley Furniture and Young America® will be on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and on Monday, Jan. 10 they will be on the premier of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - How’d They Do That? Each episode of the Emmy-nominated Extreme Makeover: Home Edition spotlights one deserving family. A team of designers, contractors and several hundred workers will completely rebuild the family’s house in seven days.
