Rob Ash Named VP Operations, Initial Shipments Underway for A La Carte

Gary Ash, industry veteran and president of a new table & accent company, A La Carte, announced that son Rob Ash has been named VP Operations. He also reported that goods are being shipped to over 100 dealers coast to coast. Rob Ash has retail sales experience with Boyles and Furnitureland South, as well as covering the state of Kentucky as sales representative with the Lane Company. He received a BS degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, majoring in marketing. "His background gives him a unique perspective. Rob understands the needs of the retailer and knows firsthand the importance of customer satisfaction. He is especially strong in the area of operations, which is vital in our commitment to provide 10-15 working day shipment of product from receipt of order," Ash commented. "Rob's responsibilities include customer service, sales administration, shipping and supervision of the 25,000 sq. ft. High Point warehouse." The company reported that initial shipments of nine table groups and baker's racks are in progress. A dealer base of 125 small and medium size stores throughout the country has been established in the first four to six months following A La Carte's debut at the April High Point Market.
