GERS Retail Systems has successfully signed an agreement with Harbinger Corporation, a worldwide supplier of Electronic Commerce software, services and solutions for supply chain management. Harbinger will now be a part of the GERS Alliance Program as their partner for Electronic Commerce (EC)/Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and GERS becomes a member of Harbinger's Alliance program as a Valued Added Reseller.
The utilization of Harbinger as GERS' new EC/EDI partner means the following benefits for GERS customers: reduced transaction cost, improved accuracy, lower inventory costs, and improved document tracking, all in an easy-to-learn CD ROM based training format. The Harbinger product, TrustedLink Commerce, is Windows based, Year 2000 compliant and requires less training and implementation time. The system will also allow transaction sets to be more easily developed.
