Globe Express Services opened three new offices in China during the first half of 2004. New corporate facilities were added in Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Tianjin. This expansion will add depth to Globe's significant China infrastructure, bringing the total to eight corporate offices and over 20 container freight stations (CFS). Globe's corporate facilities in China are located in: x Hong Kong x Guangzhou x Shanghai x Shenzhen x Qingdao x Taipei x Tianjin x Xiamen Globe Express is committed to serving its clients' evolving logistics needs. Global sourcing trends indicate that importers/exporters are reaching deeper into China, especially the Northeast. While Hong Kong has traditionally served as the gateway (and will remain of great strategic importance), expanding alternative port volumes require additional Globe Express personnel and assets 'on the ground' in these new locations. This expansion will enable Globe to maintain the high level of service, inventory control, and visibility its customers require as their supply chains and distribution networks expand to include other points in China.
