Kincaid Furniture Company, Inc. Acquires New Production Facility

Kincaid Furniture Company, Inc. has announced the acquisition of a 135,000 square foot production facility. Located in Caldwell County, the facility is scheduled to begin operations in December, 1999. Initially, the plant will produce dimension stock and other components to supplement production capacity at other Kincaid facilities. Other phases of operation will be phased in as equipment and personnel are added. In announcing plans for this expansion, Kincaid President, Steven M. Kincaid, stated that "our products continue to retail extremely well and this additional facility will enable us to increase our capacity and improve service to our customers." Kincaid Furniture Company produces a complete line of solid wood casegoods and custom upholstery and is a subsidiary of La-Z-Boy, Inc.
