AFMA Finance Division Annual Meeting Slated For June 11-13 High Point, NC

The AFMA Finance Division will hold its 1998 Annual Meeting, titled "Invest in the Future," from June 11-13 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The theme for this meeting is especially appropriate as the U.S. furniture manufacturing industry heads into the new millennium filled with opportunities and dangers. Companies focused on capitalizing on the vast opportunities the future holds will invest in their leaders who will carry the company into the year 2000 and beyond. The Finance Division Annual Meeting is a high-return on investment for a company's financial executives. Programs to be presented in the educational sessions will focus on current topics of interest to financial executives. Each program will be led by knowledgeable speakers from leading companies specializing in particular aspects of financial management. The Federal Reserve Perspective- Jack Guynn, President and Chief Executive Officer-Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The Power of Positive Insanity - Mark Therrien, Director- Interplay. The Norwalk Furniture Story - Ed Gerken, Chairman/CEO- Norwalk Furniture Corp., AFMA President. Washington Update from the House - The Honorable Howard Coble, R-NC.
