Redford House Opens Showroom At The San Francisco Mart

The San Francisco Mart is pleased to announce that Redford House has joined the permanent tenant roster for Summer Market '98. This Marina Del Rey, Calif. company will be located in space 123 in Mart 1 and will occupy 1,024 square feet. Redford House makes an eclectic line of unique and cozy antique reproductions called City Cottage. Inspired by American and European antiques, the line is made with a combination of American Sugar Pine and Eastern White, which is finished by hand-distressing each piece so as to mimic the normal aging and wear of antiques. Additions to the line for Summer Market include a bedroom set, chairs and a coffee table. Redford House, which previously exhibited as a temporary tenant in the Mart's Designer Collection Showcase, thought it was time to open a permanent space at the Mart to display its goods. "We are a small company and the clientele that the Mart offers is quite complimentary," says Samantha Winic, owner of Redford House. "We have increased our business every time we have shown there."
