Oriental Weavers Of America Engineer Named Inventor

Oriental Weavers of America is proud to announce that Engineer Amin Radwan, yarn division general manager, has been given the designation of "inventor " for his creation of the Nylene yarn system. The designation was given to Engineer Amin by the United States Patent Office. Engineer Amin directly reports to Paul D’huyvetter, senior vice president. The Nylene construction is woven from a polypropylene and nylon blend. The blend gives the rug a layer of sheen and helps with added durability. The first rugs woven with this unique system were introduced during the 2001 winter area rug market in Atlanta. Engineer Amin has been with OWA for five years.
