La Mirada, California (January 8, 2002) – Latex International announced the appointment of a new Division Manager for its West Coast operation, Latex International West. Ron Bruneau, former Plant Manager, has been promoted to LIW Division Manager, reporting to Steve Russo, President, Latex International "We congratulate Ron on his appointment," said Russo. "LIW recently underwent significant expansion and serves as a major hub for Latex International on the West Coast. We believe that Ron’s extensive knowledge of our business makes him a natural for this position." In his new position, Bruneau will work directly with corporate headquarters to shape the direction of LIW, including the development of business plans, capital expense plans and establishing business goals. Bruneau joined Latex International’s parent organization, Latex Foam Products, in Ansonia, CT. seven years ago, while still a student at GMI Engineering and Management Institute (now the Kettering Institute), in Flint, MI. Originally from Wolcott, CT (a suburb of Waterbury), he was hired by LFP as part of a cooperative education program that pairs students with companies for real world experience. Bruneau worked for two years in LFP’s engineering division. Immediately following graduation, he was given a position as Production Supervisor.
