Craig L. Fisher Named General Manager Of AHS Division Of Morgan Corporation

Craig L. Fisher has been named general manager of Advanced Handling Systems, a division of Morgan Corporation. In addition to his new divisional responsibilities, Fisher also will retain his corporate position as vice president of marketing for Morgan Corporation. As the new AHS general manager, Fisher will be responsible for maintaining the division's leadership position in the materials handling industry and for guiding the division in its continuation of new product development. "Morgan has devoted significant resources toward this goal," Fisher said. "and, with the dedicated AHS team we now have in place, I am confident we will continue to play a significant and growing role in the industry." Fisher joined Morgan Corporation as vice president of marketing in April 1999, bringing with him 17 years of trucking experience. Prior to joining Morgan, he was general manager of marketing for Freightliner Corporation in Portland, Oregon, where he was responsible for strategic marketing development encompassing communications, product development, promotions and electronic commerce strategy. For eight years, Fisher served with Peterbilt Motors Company, Denton, Texas, where he served as general marketing manager, marketing development manager and market planning manager. Also he held marketing and product positions with Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan, where he was regional marketing specialist and product manager. Fisher earned a Masters degree in finance and marketing from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts degree in behavioral psychology from the University of Arizona.
