Les Flippo To Direct U.S. Sales For Decor-Rest

Industry veteran, Leslie W. Flippo, has joined Decor-Rest, a leading Canadian upholstery manufacturer, as Director of U.S. sales. His mandate is to develop the company's customer base. Flippo will be based in High Point, North Carolina, reporting directly to Christina Marzilli, President of Decor-Rest. Most recently President of his own sales and marketing company, Flippo has held top responsibility over the years for Wellington Hall, Thomasville; Kay Lyn Upholstery, High Point and Emerson Leather, Hickory. He has also acted as Vice President for Globe Furniture, and Executive Vice President for Hickory Furniture, the parent company of Chair Craft, Hickory Manufacturing and Kay Lyn, White of Mebane and John Widdicomb. Flippo has been heavily involved with industry associations through the years; Past President sales and marketing division, American Furniture Manufacturers' Association; a member of the Board of Directors, AFMA; a member of the Board, UFAC; a member of the Board, Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library; member of the North Carolina Export Council; member of the Advisory Board, Appalachian State University School of International Trade and a guest lecturer at the High Point University School of Furniture Manufacturing.
