STORIS Expands Research and Development Office

STORIS Management Systems announced today that they are moving their Research and Development office, initially opened in October of 1997, to a larger facility. Come May 1, 2000, this office will be relocating within the Newport Center in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The new regional office represents a 121% increase in square footage. The industry's first fully proven integrated B2C (Business to Consumer) Internet Solution: eSTORIS Virtual Store and eCustomer Service was developed under the direction of Steve Ross, Regional R&D Director in Florida, "eSTORIS is gaining widespread acceptance," said Ross "and as a result we need to ramp up based on the increased demand by adding additional technical staffing." Mr. Ross will be speaking at High Point on Monday, April 10th, at the NHFA Retailer Resource Center. His topic will be "Are Furniture Retailers Really Selling Over the Internet?" STORIS Management Systems, an IBM Business partner, provides computer turnkey solutions for furniture, appliance and electronic retailers.
