Mr. McLeod, formerly with Mohawk Industries as a Vice President of Sales in the Mohawk Home Division, will be headquartered in Burlington Rugs’ new corporate offices in Atlanta. "John's history of success with the world’s largest retailers makes him the ideal leader for our rug business. We are quite proud that he shares Burlington’s vision of fairly priced, innovative products that are combined with world class service to meet the exacting needs of today's major retailers. John will be responsible for all sales in the Burlington Rug Division” noted Korhani. "I have been given the opportunity to partner with an extremely talented executive team that has the vision and resources to make things happen” says McLeod. “Their impressive re-penetration of the major retailers over the last 18 months since acquiring these facilities makes Burlington Rugs the company to watch in the Home Fashion industry. Yanoor Corporation's almost 1 million square feet of manufacturing facilities in Monticello, Arkansas was acquired 20 months ago from Burlington Industries, and is widely regarded in the industry as "the crown jewel of rug manufacturing facilities". With the world’s largest concentration of electronically controlled pattern tufting machines, it is ideally equipped to produce significant quantities of tufted scatter, bath and room size rugs. The addition of imported machine made and hand made rugs gives Burlington Rug a sizeable breadth of product offerings that encompasses the complete rug market.
