The Board of Directors of Southern Home Furnishings Association (SHFA) announced that it met on Monday, October 24th in High Point, NC to elect a new slate of officers and directors for 2012. In attendance were: Sandy Bryant of Orangeburg Furniture, Orangeburg, SC; Robert Dossenbach of Dossenbach’s Finer Furniture, Sanford, NC; Donny Hinton of Colortyme, Gaffney, SC; “Cackie” Jones and “Tripp” Jones of Jones Wayside Furniture, Spring Lake, NC; Joey Ray, of Garden City Furniture, Garden City Beach, SC; Eddie Rose of Rose Brothers Furniture, Jacksonville, NC; Britt Sams of Sam’s Furniture, Henderson, NC; Brent Shealy and Brian Shealy of Economy Furniture, Leesville, SC; and Gary Woodham of Colfax Furniture, Greensboro, NC.
SHFA announced that its officers effective January 1, 2012 will be:
- Robert Dossenbach, President
- Britt Sams, Vice President
- Brian Shealy, Secretary
- Robert “Tripp” Jones, Treasurer
- Gary Woodham, Executive Committee Chairman
New Directors beginning a 3-year term on January 1, 2012 are: Scott Allen, Schewel Furniture, Lynchburg, VA; Mandy Jeffries, Colfax Furniture, Greensboro, NC; and Haywood “Woody” Whichard, Midtown Furniture Superstores, Madison, NC.
