SOFA: Source of Furniture + Accessories announced its event line-up during The Canadian Home Furnishings Market (TCHFM). Taking place January 15-18 2011, at the International Centre, the TCHFM will welcome Trade Only Industry Professionals and showcase some of Canada’s best-known home furnishing exhibitors as they present their products and unveil new collections. The halls of SOFA, located directly next to the show floor, HALL 1, will welcome Celebrity Guest Speakers and will host the second annual SOFA Cocktail Party.
SOFA welcomes two influential Design Industry Celebrity Guest Speakers to the SOFA Design Lab this January 2011. Interior Designer Jane Lockhart, BAAID, Intern, ARIDO and Designer /Build Contractor Ramsin Khachi, will both present to over 120 designers and decorators on industry hot topics. Jane Lockhart who captivated the audience during SOFA’s November Lunch+Learn Seminar will return to SOFA on January 17, 2011. As a crowd favourite, Jane is sure to bring her vast knowledge and expertise in the world of colour and design.
First time Guest Speaker to SOFA, Designer/Build Contractor, Founder of Khachi Design Group Ltd/Interiors & Television Personality Ramsin Khachi will present his SOFA Series presentation “Differentiating Your Brand – How to Stand Out from Your Competition” on January 16,2011. With his wealth of experience in both design build and interior decorating, Ramsin dispenses incredible design ideas that transform into sophisticated residential & commercial spaces – a presentation not to miss!
The excitement continues with the second annual SOFA Cocktail Party, taking place on Sunday, January 16 from 4pm- 6pm. This year’s Cocktail Party will welcome over 500 Furniture Industry Professionals with a SOCARNIVAL theme that is sure to excite the senses. Creating a fun and inviting atmosphere in the halls of SOFA, attendees can expect lots of vibrant colours, rhythmic music and bold flavours with cuisine created by International Centre’s award-winning Executive Chef, Joseph Levesque.
