The Canadian Home Furnishings Alliance (CHFA) announced that the Toronto Summer Furniture Show (TSFS) will be held this year on Sunday, August 8th, Monday, August 9th and Tuesday, August 10th. The Golf Tournament will be held during the show on Monday, August 9th.
Last year 40 companies with permanent showrooms in the International Centre and outside showrooms in the GTA participated in the TSFS. A Show Guide complete with company listings will be sent to 3,500 retailers across Canada.
"The TSFS provides smaller manufacturers, importers and distributors who do not exhibit at High Point and Las Vegas with an opportunity to launch new product without waiting until The Canadian Home Furnishings Market in January," said Murray Vaughan, President of CHFA.
The TSFS will overlap the Summer edition of the Gift Show which is the Canadian Gift & Tableware Association's trade event. The Gift Show will be held at the International Centre and the Toronto Congress Centre from Sunday, August 8th to Thursday, August 12.
Holding the golf tournament during the TSFS provides an excellent networking opportunity for suppliers and retailers. This year the golf tournament will be held at Caledon Woods Golf Club which is located at 15609 Regional Road 50 in Bolton.
