Christopher Guy furnishings and decorative accents announced that it recently made its debut in Mississippi, at the Azadi: Fine Furniture & Interiors showroom in Ridgeland, Mississippi which held its grand opening on June 3rd.
The new showroom is a division of Nancy’s Antiques & Lighting, which has been owned and managed by Mississippi local Nancy Ghafarianpoor for more than 4 years. Azadi: Fine Furniture & Interiors is the first and only showroom carrying Christopher Guy furnishings and decorative accents in the state of Mississippi.
The impressive and large 15,000 square foot showroom, designed by local architectural firm Wooldridge & Associates, is located off the Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland. The 2-story brick building features 100-year-old wood beam columns, both outside and inside of the structure. Crystal chandeliers and scones light the inside of the high-ceiling showroom, complete with detailed crown moldings to add a touch of traditional styling.
“We want to become the destination showroom for the affluent customers of the surrounding communities in Mississippi, who are looking for an exclusive, modern and sophisticated look,” said Ghafarianpoor. “I was born in Mississippi and have a great passion for design and I am proud to present something very new and different,” she added.
Offering a variety of styles for the home decorator, the showroom features traditional, contemporary and coastal furnishings and decorative accents. Specialty sections divide the showroom and include areas for leather furniture and upholstered furniture among others. The upstairs display area is further divided into areas for bedroom furniture, which includes more than 30 king-size bed frames complete with mattresses and vanity tables, upholstered stools, bedding and drapery. Unique pieces of art work, mirrors, floral arrangements, lamps and decorative accessories are showcased throughout and add an extra touch of elegance and sophistication to the Azadi showroom.
Christopher Guy new and signature furnishings are featured in more than a third of the entire Azadi: Fine Furniture & Interiors showroom. Defined by a singular design philosophy of a contemporary mood with classical values, each uniquely hand-carved Christopher Guy furniture piece encompasses a timeless heirloom quality. The signature and exclusively patented “Chris-X” (kris-kros) design element is showcased through the various dining tables, chairs, chaise lounges and desks on display at Azadi. Other Christopher Guy furnishings include a selection of mirrors, headboards and bed frames.
