Stone House Furniture To Cease Operations

PMP announced that after 38 years servicing the Bucks County area of PA, Stone House Furniture will be shutting its doors forever.

This unique store tucked away in the middle of the beautiful farm country portion of Mechanicsville, PA just couldn't "handle the money part of it" says owner Karin Ernest and her daughter Heather Wessner. "We are going out of business," she said

Ernest and Wessner didn't arrive at the decision to close Stone House Furniture lightly. They met with a professional sales promotion company-Profit Management Promotions (PMP) out of Jamison, PA who sat with the family and suggested a plan whereby the two of them would benefit greatly by hiring a professional to run a going out of business event. PMP was hired in the beginning of the year and the sale began in March. The sale should conclude by the end of May. Says Ron Cooper, director of sales for PMP, "It's very sad to let go of a store like Stone that has serviced so many customers over the last four decades. We are all working very hard to not only sell all of the inventory but to also assist in the selling of this unique building"
